About Carol

 And the winner is...

Thank you so much for all of your support and electing me District 70 Representative!

Our grassroots efforts last March grew into a full blown experienced volunteer base.  Words don't describe how hard these people worked to support me and the Tulsa residents reciprocated with votes.  Thank you to each and everyone.

I am ready to do work in Oklahoma City!

-Representative Carol Bush

Oklahoma needs leaders with a track record of success in bringing people together and solving problems. I will work hard each day to earn your trust and ensure that your voice is heard at the State Capitol. Together we will find common sense solutions to putting Oklahoma back on track.”

 A Native Tulsan

Carol's roots run deep in the community. Born and raised in Tulsa she attended both public and private schools and received her degree in business from Oral Roberts University. Carol is the proud mother of two daughters, Moriah and Nicole, and attends First Presbyterian Church. Her years of service to the Tulsa community were life lessons she learned from her parents Al and Marilyn Bush whose work positively impacted the health and economic growth of Tulsa. Hard work and giving back to the community is a way of life for Carol. No one is more passionate about making Tulsa a better place to live, work and raise a family.

A Servant's Heart

Carol served for 10 years as the executive director of the Crime Prevention Network implementing the Alert Neighbor and Crime Stoppers programs in neighborhoods across the city. She is passionate about making Tulsa a safer place for our families and has the experience to lead on this important issue at the Capitol. Before joining the Crime Prevention Network she spent ten years in public health, where she worked to improve the health and well-being of residents in Northeast Oklahoma. Carol knows from experience that health and safety of the community go hand in hand.

An Independent Voice

Carol is a lifelong Republican and believes that our state government, like our families, must live within its means. As a small business owner for 25 years she understands the demands of meeting a payroll and balancing a budget. She will focus on spending priorities and eliminating duplication of services. Carol believes that a strong public education system is critical to economic growth and sustainability. Carol will defend the Second Amendment, direct more money to the classroom, work to improve public safety and be a strong voice for Tulsa at the State Capitol.
